Werner Illsinger
Founder & Executive Director
Werner Illsinger is the founder of the 4future Institute and has been working at the intersection of technology, organization, and society for over 25 years. He combines technical expertise with a background in business and organizational psychology, and analyzes the impact of technological developments on organizations, democracy, and society. As Executive Director, he is responsible for building 4future as a European platform for social innovation.

Helmut Detter
Fellow (Technology, Society & Future Thinking)
Helmut Detter is an emeritus full professor at TU Wien with decades of experience at the intersection of technology, the physical world, and society. His particular strengths lie in mechatronics and strategic product development, where he connects digital innovation with real-world systems and concrete implementation.
As a co-initiator of the Wissensforum Hirschwang, he is committed to independent, future-oriented discourse formats and societal dialogue. As a Fellow, he brings scientific depth, historical perspective, and independent thinking to the work of the 4future Institute.
